 <note><![CDATA[The purposeof thisstudyistoidentify theparameters ofphysics, chemistryandbiologyof thewater atpublic use areaat the site ofthe formersand miningBandar Bataugavillageto be usedas a location formariculture. This research was conductedat the site ofthe formersand miningBandar BataugaVillage, District Batauga, Buton regencySoutheastSulawesi. This is the descriptive quantitative research using Spatialapproach. The results of the study shows that physical and chemical parameters obtained at stations A, B and C are feasiable for cultivation of goldfish, red tilapia, milkfish, freshwater pomfret, tiger grouper and humpback grouper, mud grouper, rabbitfish and white snapper.Classes ofechinodermsCrustaseathat isfeasible to be cultivated aretiger shrimp, freshwater lobster, mud crab, and formolluskclasses are bloodclams, mussels, lolasnails, andgonggong snails. The seaweed is not feasible to be cultivated in this kind of area. At stations A and B,the largest plankton grown is in the form of the freshwater diatoms such as Nitzschiasp., Navicula sp. AndBiddulphia sp., While at station C planktonChaetoceros sp.
